Find the smile
enjoy the laugh
and life is worth living.
Love will happen when its time
to have a new beginning.
As each day has it color
its flavor
and its tone.
It is in the heart of comfort
that you’ll feel at home.
Remember how to smile
always try to laugh
and life becomes a joy.
But let not love fade away
that you not spot it
should it pass.

I haven’t had the inspiration for a while to write, let alone try and compose poetry. So this is for my Muse with thanks for all he has inspired and making me smile.

Oh Muse

A muse to die for
To live for
To write for.
Enticing things hitherto unknown.
A phantom
A figment
Oh Muse
How He haunts my mind
Lingering within memory
Never long gone
Whispering and intoxicating
Titillating mind and emotion
“Write, my angel”
He murmurs in my ear
Teasing and provoking ideas forth
Tantalizing and tormenting
As He stokes the fires of desire
Desperate hunger
A need to write
To please
To surrender.
Oh Muse how I love thee
How I hate when you leave
